It's been seven years since Janet Jackson's last tour, and she can still put on show like it's nobody's business! Madison Square Garden was packed this past Saturday night, with fans wanting to "rock wit" Janet Jackson. The pop star's Rock Witchu Tour hit MSG, which was the last stop on the tour. Nonetheless, the singer made the most of it, giving the audience a 2.5 hour performance, including 9 costume changes, videos montages/interludes and countless hits that span over a period of 30 years. From a technical standpoint the show was brilliantly designed. The futuristic theme was well executed with large screens and futuristic images playing throughout the concert. The stage extended well into audience creating a catwalk and a "stage b" which allowed the singer to get closer to the fans.

Janet jammed just as hard as her dancers a.k.a "Kids," who are half her age, to favorites like "Rhythm Nation, "Miss You Much" and "All For You", and to new classics like All Nite(Don't Stop), "Feedback", "Rock With U" and "So Excited." Janet put on an athletic show that was sexy yet smooth, excited yet relaxed, and fun but funky, proving that the new generation of performers still have much to learn when it comes to putting on a great show, and a long way to go to get to that point if Ms. Jackson keeps setting the ladder any higher. A+

I saw this show 3 times it was the best experience of my life. Janet is truly amazing and so are the "kids" her dancers. She is 42 and kept up with every move, every beat. I am so proud to be a Janet Fan now and forever!!
I saw this show in D.C., on 10/15, her first back from her illness. Janet didn't disappoint. I was amazed at her vocals, which were at leat 85% live and strong.
Janet is truly an institution. Excellent piece.-QH
